A coffee expert friend brought this fabulous espresso to our attention. According to Antonio Ardente, it's still a real insider tip. In 1959, Franco Mondi's father opened a BAR in Rome and roasted his own coffee. The small roastery is a founding member of the CSC (Caffè Speciali Certificati). A certificate whose high standards give the certainty that the highest quality criteria are met from cultivation to the cup. Don't be misled by the recently modernised design of the packaging. This espresso is traditionally processed and embodies the decades of experience of a "coffee maniac". Franco Mondi loves and lives for his creations. You will taste it for yourself!

We were immediately thrilled when we tried this espresso for the first time. We were particularly taken with THE BOCS from Mondicaffè. Normally, 100% Arabicas are not exactly something that we really like, but once again, exceptions prove the rule.
This roaster can justifiably be called small and fine. Franco Mondi continues what his father started in 1959. A small bar in the heart of Rome is the starting point for his own roastery.
